Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 1, 2025 Last Updated: November 1, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Ijabat Tech Solutions, LLC ("Ijabat Tech Solutions," "we," "our," or "us"), the owner and operator of Cleann (the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects personal information when you access or use cleann.org.

By using Cleann, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information that is automatically collected when you use the Service.

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
  • Business Listings: When creating or managing a business listing, we collect information such as your business name, description, contact details, service areas, and business avatar/logo.
  • Reviews and Feedback: When you post reviews or other content, we collect that information and associate it with your account.
  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to paid features, your payment details are processed securely by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full payment card information.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, actions taken, and time spent.
  • Device and Log Information: We may collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for security, performance, and localization. We may use an IP address to estimate your general geographic area (for example, to provide relevant search results or display businesses near you). IP addresses are stored for security and fraud-prevention purposes, but when used for analytics or reporting to businesses, this data is anonymized or aggregated so that individual users cannot be identified.
  • Cookies and Storage: We use cookies and browser storage (including session storage) to maintain sessions, improve site performance, and support our referral program.
  • Metrics and Analytics: We record anonymous and aggregated metrics so businesses can understand how users engage with their listings.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Enable users and businesses to manage accounts and listings.
  • Provide review and feedback functionality.
  • Analyze platform performance and generate engagement metrics for business dashboards.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraudulent activity or security issues.
  • Communicate important updates or changes to the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cleann uses cookies and local/session storage technologies for essential and performance-related purposes.

We use these tools to:

  • Maintain your login session.
  • Remember site preferences and improve load times.
  • Track referrals (e.g., if you visit with a referral link) until account creation or session expiration.
  • Measure platform engagement and performance for internal analytics.

We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral profiling. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them.

4. Analytics and Metrics

Cleann maintains its own analytics and metrics systems for both internal and customer-facing purposes.

  • Internal Analytics: We collect and analyze technical information (such as performance logs, page load times, and API response metrics) to monitor system reliability, detect issues, and improve the overall functionality of the Service. These internal analytics are used only by our development and operations teams.
  • Business Metrics: We also collect engagement and usage data—such as listing views, clicks, and referral activity—to provide aggregated insights to service providers. When metrics include technical data (like IP addresses, device identifiers, or location approximations), that data is processed and stored in anonymized or aggregated form before being made available to businesses.
  • No Third-Party Analytics: Cleann does not use external analytics platforms that track users across other websites or applications.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only when necessary to operate the Service or as required by law.

We may share limited information with:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party providers that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, infrastructure, data storage, payment processing, and communication tools. These vendors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Communication Services: We use trusted third-party platforms to send legitimate communications (including review requests, notifications, and invitations) on behalf of our verified business users. These messages are sent only to contacts provided by those businesses and are intended for legitimate customer communication. We strictly prohibit the use of Cleann for spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or harassment. Each message includes a clear way to unsubscribe or opt out of future contact.
  • Legal and Security Purposes: When required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users, businesses, or the platform.
  • Business Transfers: If we merge, sell, or transfer part or all of our business, user data may be included as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

We do not sell personal information or participate in advertising networks.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain user and business data only as long as necessary to operate the Service or comply with legal requirements. Data related to inactive accounts may be anonymized or deleted after a reasonable period.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

  • Access and update your account information through your profile settings.
  • Request deletion of your account by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Disable cookies in your browser to limit certain tracking features (some functionality may be affected).

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related laws. Requests related to personal data access or deletion can be directed to [email protected].

8. Advertising and Profiling

We do not currently participate in advertising networks or perform behavioral profiling. If we introduce advertising or interest-based personalization in the future, this policy will be updated and users will be notified before such practices take effect.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date and post the new version on the Service. If significant changes are made, we will provide reasonable notice to users.
